This report, “Orthodontic Supplies Market by Removable & Fixed Braces,” studied the orthodontic supplies market over the forecast period of 2016 to 2021 and says it will reach $4.71B by 2021!

Of the patients needing orthodontic supplies, children and teenagers are expected to command the largest share of the global orthodontic supplies market, with the United States leading as the largest regional segment. A good portion of the segment can be attributed to more adolescent children and teenagers choosing to wear fixed braces.

These elastics are taken in and out at mealtimes and are very effective at pulling the upper and lower teeth into a proper fit, often causing the patient some pain and discomfort due to significant adjustments being made.
