Those Lazy, Hazy, Crazy Days of Summer

The KEP team wastes no time making the most of summer! From family reunions to adventurous road trips, we are always thrilled when a team member can take time away to rest and be with their loved ones. They always come back refreshed, filled with fun stories to share, and ready to get back to work – maybe a little sunburnt too! These well-deserved breaks are a part of our culture at KEP as we know the importance of a healthy work-life balance. People always show up their best selves when they’ve had time to recoup and do things they love! 

Don Leeper was at his family’s Pitts-Leeper Reunion, which has been held every 4th of July for over 100 years! The families enjoyed time in the sun playing classic yard games such as wiffle ball and a water balloon toss while they connected with loved ones. Brandi Cottrell and her family took time away to travel to Red River Gorge in West Virginia! This adventurous bunch enjoyed time in nature doing some hiking and even white water rafting. Other families, like Bobby Dalton and his crew, stayed a bit closer to home as they enjoyed time by good ol’ Lake Erie. Joe Williamson and his family also created memories by the lake, listening to the waves and enjoying the rides at Cedar Point! 

We’re not quite ready to say goodbye to summer yet – and so we hope you and your family can enjoy some fun in the sun! Here’s to a relaxing summer as we prepare for exciting things coming this fall!
