KEP was proud to be named a 2023 Smart Business Evolution of Manufacturing Honoree! Our great Team Members are to thank, because it is they who live and breathe our culture of accountability and continuous improvement in everything we do!

After the labor market navigated the hardships of COVID-19, record-high inflation, “quiet quitting,” and rumblings of recession – we are proud to be a manufacturer that stepped up to keep the industry going AND growing!

KEP was named an honoree because of our commitment to innovation in all aspects of our business. Previously, we were reactive to situations, never changing the culture to be prepared for any given moment. Now we are quick and nimble, ready to respond to changes, problems and more with clarity and strategy!

From an investment and resource perspective, we have maintained our organizational philosophy to significantly grow the business and stay ahead of the competition by innovating manufacturing operations. We have invested in the implementation of an ISO13485 medical device quality system; installation of new air conditioning in Mogadore, assembly and automation equipment in Winesburg; completed the Kent office expansion and new training facilities; and much more!

These investments have provided efficiency gains while growing the business and bringing new technologies to market through its R&D efforts.
