KEP Employees recently participated in a heartfelt video to say goodbye to long-time President Bob Oborn. In their words, KEP is more than an elastomer manufacturer. Testimonials about Bob’s tenure and character reveal the compassionate human element of KEP. We care about each other, and we strive to do our best!
Under Bob’s leadership, bonds were formed, goals were achieved and leaders were developed. Although business can be cold and unforgiving, it can also be a uniting force motivating people to be their best. The below words reflect KEP’s core values and vision, lived out in Bob’s presidency.
“Congratulations! I can’t thank you enough for your 36 years of friendship, and especially all the mentoring that you provided me during that time. Following you in what seems like every role you were in prepared me to lead such a tremendous team here at Kent Elastomer,” said incoming President John Danes.
Greg Graham, Director of Extrusion Operations, shared, “I think the world of you. Thank you for the opportunities you’ve given to me. Thank you for the lessons. Thank you for listening and building me up, giving me my confidence back, letting me shine, letting me vent and letting me be passionate. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
“In my short time here, I’ve seen the effort you put into the company and its people. I’m so excited to be part of the future of Kent. I know you made a lot of great decisions while you were at Kent including hiring HR, and I’m sure those decisions will carry us into the future,” said Bethaney Mucci HR Manager.
Renée Onesti, Director of Operations, said, “Thank you for all the laughs and the fun. We’ve worked together to accomplish some really amazing things for Kent Elastomer and for our employees.”
